BASIC CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT ACT, NO. 75 OF 1997

SECTORAL DETERMINATION 9 : WHOLESALE AND RETAIL SECTOR,

SOUTH AFRICA

I, Mildred Nelisiwe Oliphant, Minister of Labour, hereby give notice in terms of

section   52(3)    of  the   Basic    Conditions     of   Employment       Act,    1997,   of   the

commencement of a review into minimum wages and conditions of employment in

the Wholesale and Retail Sector.

The terms of reference shall be:

"To review wages and conditions of employment in the Sectoral Determination 9,

Wholesale and Retail Sector, South Africa ".

Interested persons are hereby given the opportunity of making written representations.

Such representations should reach the Executive Manager: Employment Standards

Directorate, Department of Labour, Private Bag XI17, Pretoria, 0001, within 90 days

of the publication of this notice.
