IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Government Printing Works will not be held responsible for faxed documents not received due
   to errors on the fax machine or faxes received which are unclear or incomplete. Please be advised
   that an "OK" slip, received from a fax machine, will not be accepted as proof that documents were
   received by the GPW for printing. If documents are faxed to the GPW it will be the sender's respon-
   sibility to phone and confirm that the documents were received in good order.

Furthermore the Government Printing Works will also not be held responsible for cancellations and
   amendments which have not been done on original documents received from clients.

EKURHULENI METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY
                        EXTENSION OF DECLARATION OF LOCAL STATE OF DISASTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in terms of section 55 (5) of the Disaster Management Act, Act No 57 of 2002,
     that the Executive Mayor of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in terms of his delegated powers,
     extended the declaration of Duduza Extension 2 (Maseshaba / Cool Breeze) Township as a local state of
     disaster, as declared with effect from 2 October 2011 per Local Authority Notice 1273 in the Gauteng
     Provincial Gazette Extraordinary number 230 dated 5 October 2011, and extended to 2 February 2012 by
     Local Authority Notice 69 in the Gauteng Provincial Gazette Extraordinary number 6 dated 18 January 2012
     with a further month until 2 March 2012 to enable the necessary assistance to be given after the area was hit
     by a devastating Tornado and Thunder Storm on Sunday 2 October 2011,
