                INVITATION TO COMMENT ON EXPOSURE DRAFT 115                               PROPOSED
                DIRECTIVE ON APPLICATION OF THE STANDARDS OF GRAP BY PUBLIC
                FURTHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING COLLEGES

               The Accounting Standards Board (the Board) invites comment on Exposure Draft 115
                Proposed Directive on the Application of the Standards of GRAP by Public Further
                Education and Training Colleges (ED 115). In October 2013, the Minister of Higher
                Education and Training approved that public Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges
                apply Standards of GRAP in preparing their financial statements (FET Circular 05/2013).
                Following this decision, the Board issued ED 115 for comment, which outlines proposed
                interim arrangements for the 2013 reporting period, as well as proposed transitional
                provisions for the first time adoption of Standards of GRAP for the FET Colleges.
                All those affected by, or who are interested in any of these Exposure Drafts, are encouraged
                to provide a written response to the Board. Responses should be received by the Board by
                the 31st of January 2014.
