NOTICE 202 OF 2014

DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR

BASIC CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT ACT, 1997

DETERMINATION: EARNINGS THRESHOLD

I, Mildred Nelisiwe Oliphant, Minister of Labour, give notice in terms of section 6(4) of the

Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997, of the commencement of the review of the
            earnings threshold and invites written representations from members of the public in terms

of section 6(4) of the said Act.

Interested persons are hereby given the opportunity of making representations to the

Employment Conditions Commission.           Such representations should reach the Acting
            Director, Employment Standards, Department of Labour, Private Bag X117, Pretoria, 0001

within 30 days after publication of the notice.
