KOMGA DIVISION

CLOSING OF A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ROAD AND
                                     RECLASSIFICATION OF A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ROAD

In terms of Section 5 of the Eastern Cape Roads Act (Act 3 of 2003) the MEC for Roads and
                      Public Works hereby gives notice that a portion of approximately 10 km of Divisional Road 32
                      (also known as DR02792) as proclaimed by Proclamation 30 of 1935 section 4, located in the
                      Komga  Divisional area, as  described in  Schedule I  below and  as  indicated by means of a
                      broken black line marked A – B on the attached plan, is reclassified from a Divisional Road to a
                      Minor Road; that this aforesaid reclassified portion shall be consolidated with the existing Minor
                      Road 31 as proclaimed by Public Notice number 342 of 1964 located in the Komga Divisional
                      area, and that a portion of about 1 km of Minor Road 31 as proclaimed by Public Notice number
                      342 of 1964 located in the Komga Divisional area, as described in Schedule II below and as
                      indicated by means of an  unbroken black line  marked  C  –  D  on the  attached  plan, is
                      deproclaimed and shall cease to be a public road.

Schedule I: From a point on Divisional Road 32 (also known as DR02792) on the north-western
                      boundary of farm Beaconsfield (237) running in an easterly direction across the farms
                      Beaconsfield (237), farm number 236 and farm number 235 until the boundary with farm Glen
                      Kei (234); a total length of approximately 10 km.

Schedule II: From a point on Minor Road 31 on the boundary of Farm Glen Kei and Farm 233
                      portion 1 to the end point of the proclaimed Minor Road on the boundary common to Portions 2
                      and 1 of Farm 233, a total length of approximately 1 km.
