Gauteng PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE

NOTICE

Thursday, 16 May 2019

The Judge President Dunstan Mlambo, hereby gives notice for general information, by virtue of the
              power  vested  in  him  in  terms  of  Section  110(1),  read  with  Sections  111(2)  and  128(2)  of  the
              Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, has confirmed Wednesday, 22 May 2019 at 10:00 as
                                       st
              the date and time for the 1  sitting.  The Venue will be the Selborne Hall in the Gauteng Provincial
              Legislature Building, Johannesburg.

The following Orders of the Day will take place:

Ø  the taking of an oath or affirmation by Members of the Provincial Legislature;
                  Ø  the nomination and election of the Premier;
                  Ø  the nomination and election of the Speaker;
                  Ø  the nomination and election of the Deputy Speaker;
                  Ø  the nomination of the Chairperson of Committees
                  Ø  the nomination of the Deputy Chairperson of Committees;
                  Ø  the nomination and appointment of NCOP Permanent Delegates;
                  Ø  the Conferral of Mandate on the appointment of the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of
                     the NCOP;
                  Ø  the  appointment  of  Special  Delegates  to  the  NCOP,  as  required  by  Section  107  read  with
                     Section 111(1) Section, Section 128(2) and Section 129 of the Constitution of the Republic of
                     South Africa, 1996.
