                  COMMENCEMENT DATE OF SECTIONS

COMMENCEMENT OF FINANCIAL SERVICES LAWS GENERAL AMENDMENT ACT,
                  2013 (ACT NO.45 OF 2013) COMMENCEMENT DATE OF SECTION 264 INSOFAR AS IT
                  AMENDS IN THE SCHEDULE, SECTION 1 OF THE MEDICAL SCHEMES ACT, 1998
                  (ACT NO. 131 OF 1998)

Pravin J Gordhan, Minister of Finance, in terms of-

section 266(1) and (2) of the Financial Services Laws General Amendment  Act, 2013
                         (Act No. 45 of 2013) ( "the FSLGA Act ") hereby determine 1 April 2017  as the date on
                         which section 264 of the FSLGA Act, insofar as it amends in the Schedule  to the
                         FSLGA Act, section 1 of the Medical Schemes Act, 1998 (Act No. 131 of 1998), takes
                         effect.
