                                       QUARTER ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2013

I, John Block, MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, acting in terms of
                 Section 71(7) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act (No. 56 of
                 2003), hereby publish the consolidated statement on municipal budgets in the Northern
                 Cape. This reflects the financial performance by municipalities as at the end of the first
                 quarter (ending 30 September 2013) of the 2013/14 municipal financial year.

Provincial Treasury is using the National Treasury Database as the primary source for
                the data reported in this submission.
