PUBLIC NOTICE

INKOSI LANGALIBALELE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

SUPPLEMENTARY VALUATION ROLL NO.2

(INKOSI LANGALIBALELE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY GENERAL VALUATION ROLL 1 JULY 2020)
                                             2021/2022 FINANCIAL YEAR

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(1)(a)(i) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act,
              2004 (Act No 6 of 2004), herein after referred to as the “Act” that the supplementary valuation roll for the for
              the financial year 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 is open for public inspection at the Municipal Offices (Rates
              Department), Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality, during office hours (Monday to Friday) from 08h00 to 16h00
              from 14 April 2022 to 06 June 2022. In addition, the Supplementary Valuation Roll No.2 is available on the
              website: www.ilm.gov.za

An invitation is hereby made in terms of Section 49(1) (a) (ii) of the Act that any owner of property or other
              person who desires should lodge an objection with the Municipal Manager in respect of any matter reflected in,
              or omitted from the valuation roll within the above mentioned period. Attention is specifically drowned to the
              fact that in terms of Section (50) (2) of the Act, an objection must be in relation to a specific property and not
              against the valuation roll as such.

The form for the lodging of objection is obtainable at the following Municipal Offices:-

Municipal Offices:  Estcourt - situated in Victoria Street; Ntabamhlophe satellite offices, Weenen
                                   satellite office and Loskop satellite offices.
              Municipal Libraries: -Estcourt Library; Loskop Library; Ntabamhlophe Library; Weenen
                                   Library; Forderville Library; and Wembezi Library
