MUNICIPAL NOTICE: 231 of 2016

INSPECTION OF THE SUPPLEMENTARY VALUATION ROLL No.09 AND
                                              LODGING OF OBJECTIONS.

In terms of the Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No. 6 of 2004) as amended,
                    hereinafter referred to as the "Act", it is advised that the supplementary valuation roll
                    No 9 of the former Hibiscus Coast Municipality for the financial years 01July 2012 to
                    30 June 2017  is available for public  inspection at  the office of the Chief Financial
                    Officer, Lot 1000 Newton Road, Dan Pienaar Square, Margate, during office hours
                    from 07h30 to 16h00 from 09 December 2016 to 20 January 2017.
                    In addition the valuation roll is available on the Ray Nkonyeni Municipal  website: -
                    www.rnm.gov.za.
                    An invitation is further made in terms of section 49(l) (a) (ii) and 78(2) of the Act that
                    any owner of a property or other person who so desires should lodge an objection
                    with the Municipal Manager in respect of any matter reflected in, or omitted from, the
                    supplementary valuation roll No.09, within the above-mentioned period.  Attention is
                    specifically drawn to the fact that in terms of section 50(2) of the Act an objection
                    must be in relation to a specific individual property and not against the supplementary
                    valuation roll.    The  Objection  Form  can be obtained from  the  Treasury Office,  Lot
                    1000 Newton Road, Dan Pienaar Square, Margate, Treasury Office, Old Post Office,
                    Port Shepstone or from the website: www.rnm.gov.za.

The completed forms must be returned via registered mail to The Municipal Manager,
                    Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality, “Valuation Roll”, P.O. Box 5, Port Shepstone, 4240
                    or hand delivered to Treasury Office, Lot 1000 Newton Road, Dan Pienaar Square,
                    Margate or emailed to objections@rnm.gov.za.
