EXTENSION OF TIME TO COMMENT ON THE DRAFT PROCEDURES           TO BE FOLLOWED FOR THE
                ASSESSMENT AND MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR REPORTING             ON IDENTIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL
                 THEMES WHEN APPLYING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL          AUTHORISATION

I, Barbara Dallas Creecy, Minister of Environment, Forestry  and Fisheries, hereby extend the comment
                 period on the protocols for the assessment of environmental  impacts and minimum report content
                 requirements for environmental themes for activities requiring  environmental authorisation, as published
                 under Government Notice No. 9 in Government Gazette No. 42946  on 10 January 2020, until the 24
                 March 2020.

In addition, this Notice provides the URL for the Species  Environmental Assessment Best Practice
                 Guideline referred to in the protocols published under  Government Notice No. 9 in Government Gazette
                 No. 42946 on 10 January 2020 and corrects the URLs for  accessing the South African National Red List
                for animal and plant species as follows:
                        The Species Environmental Assessment Best Practice  Guideline will be available at http:il
                        bgis.sanbi.org/ as from the 24 February 2020;
                        The URL for the South African National Red List for animal  species is changed from
                        htip://b.grs. speciesstatus. sanbi. org/  to http://speciesstatus. sanbi. orcy ; and
                        The URL for the South African National Red List for plant  species is changed from
                        http://bgis.speciesstatus.sanbíorg/  http.//redlist.sanbi.orgl.
