                                       This Board Notice is effective as from 1 April 2019

SOUTH AFRICAN COUNCIL FOR NATURAL SCIENTIFIC PROFESSIONS

FEE STRUCTURE FOR 2019/2020

The South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions herewith retracts all Board Notices regarding the fee
             structure as published in Government Gazette.

1.     NOTES

(a)    "application fee" means the fee payable on submission of an application for registration. A
                          fee is payable for each field of practice for which registration is requested and is not refundable,
                          should an application not be successful.
                    (b)    "annual fee" means the fee payable by the registered person within 60 days from the date on
                          which he /she is informed (in writing) that his /her annual fee has become payable. Annual fees will
                           become payable on the 15t of April of every year.
                    (c)    "qualifications assessment fee" must be paid for evaluation of qualifications for registration
                           purposes.
                    (d)    "re-instatement fee" means the fee payable on submission of an application to reinstate a
                           registration. A fee is payable for each field of practice for which re-instatement is required.
                    (e)    "appeal fee" means the fee payable in terms of Section 25(1) of the Act when a person lodges a
                           complaint against a Council decision.

2.     FEES
                    Annual fees payable as from the 1st of April 2019:

Category                    2018 Fees
                     Pensioner's fee:                             R 300
                     Candidate Natural Scientist:                 R 500
                     Certificated Natural Scientist:              R 850
                     Professional Natural Scientist:             R 1 400

Other fees payable as from the 15t of April 2019:
