The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management
                                               Professions (SACPCMP)

The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions

(SACPCMP) is a statutory body established in terms of the Project and Construction
                Management Professions Act (Act No.48 of 2000). In terms of Section 13(k) of the
                SACPCMP Act No. 48 of 2000, the Council is empowered to determine the conditions

relating to the Continuing Professional  Development  (CPD) of registered persons
                relating to Construction Management, Construction Project  Management,
                Construction Health and Safety (CHS)  to protect  the public interest  and  advance

project and construction management and construction health and safety education.

As published  for  public comment in Board  Notice  189 of 2016 published in
                Government Gazette No. 40480 on the 9       th  of December 2016, the commencement
                date of the amended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Policy as approved

                by Council is the 1 April 2017
