GENERAL NOTICE 740 OF 2022

Gauteng GAMBLING ACT NO 4, OF 1995 (as amended)

APPLICATION FOR REMOVAL OF BOOKMAKER LICENSE TO OTHER
                                                       PREMISES

Notice is hereby given that Betting World (Pty) Ltd of No 345 Rivonia Road,
                 Edenburg, Sandton intends to lodge application with Gauteng Gambling Board for
                 removal of its Bookmaker license to other premises, as follows:
                 From
                    ?  Office 101, Doringkloof Mall, Off Botha Avenue, Doringkloof, Centurion, 0157
                            To
                    ?  Shop No S07B & S02, Ground Floor, No 112 Main Street, Johannesburg

The purpose of this application is to obtain approval for relocation of the licence to
                 Main Street and establish Bookmaker operations in the Johannesburg CBD area.

Application will be open to public inspection at the offices of the Board from 10 June

2022. Attention is directed to the provisions of Section 20 of the Gauteng Gambling
                 Act No 4 of 1995 (as amended) which makes provision for the lodging of written
                 representations in respect of the application.

Written representations should be lodged with the Chief Executive Officer, Gauteng
                 Gambling Board, Private Bag 15, Bramley, 2018 or 125 Corlett Drive, Bramley,
                 Johannesburg within one month from 10 June 2022.

Such representations shall contain at least the following information:

(a) The name of the applicant to which representations relate
                    (b) The ground or grounds on which representations are made
                    (c) The name, address, telephone, email or fax number of the person submitting
                        the representations.

(d) Whether the person submitting the representations requests the board to
                        determine that such person’s identity may not be divulged and the grounds for

such request; and
                    (e) Whether or not they wish to make oral representations at the hearing of the
                        application.
