PUBLIC NOTICE CALLING FOR INSPECTION OF DRAFT THULAMELA LOCAL
                                        MUNICIPALITY LAND USE SCHEME 2020

The Council for Thulamela Local Municipality has through Council Resolution No SC 08/03/2020
               noted  the  Draft  Land  Use  Scheme  and  approved  it  to  be  taken  for  public  participation.  The
               Thulamela Local Municipality hereby gives notice in terms of Section 24 of the Spatial Planning
               and Land Use Management Act, 2013 (Act No. 16 of 2013) and Section 20(1) and (2) of the
               Thulamela Local Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-law, 2016 that the
               draft Thulamela Local Municipality Land Use Management Scheme is available for viewing on the
               municipal website (www.Thulamela.gov.za) as from 01 June 2020 to 30 July 2020.

Any person or body wishing to provide comments and or objection shall do so within a period of
               sixty  (60)  days  from  the  first  day  of  the  publication  of  this  notice.  Written  comments  and/or
               objections must be submitted in the format as stipulated in terms of Section 97 of the Thulamela
               Local Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-law 2016 must be emailed to:
               nepfumembepn@thulamela.gov.za,               nemadzhililiha@thulamela.gov.za            and
               lums@umsebe.co.za,  or send to Private Bag X 5056 Thohoyandou 0950 not later than 30 July
               2020.
