PUBLIC NOTICE CALLING FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON THE DRAFT
                                     STEVE TSHWETE LAND USE SCHEME, 2019

Steve Tshwete Local Municipality hereby gives notice, that in terms of Chapter 5
                   Section 24 (1) of the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act No. 16 of
                   2013 (SPLUMA), read in conjunction with Section 20 (2) of the Steve Tshwete Local
                   Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-Law of 2016, that it
                   has prepared a draft Land Use Scheme.

A copy of the Draft Steve Tshwete Land Use Scheme, 2019 can be downloaded
                   and viewed by the interested members of the public or organisations for comments
                   from the municipal website: https://www.stevetshwetelm.gov.za

Any person or body wishing to provide comments and or objections may do so within
                   a period of 30 days from the first day of publication of this notice. Written comments
                   with contact details may be addressed to the Municipal Manager, Mr B Khenisa,P.O.
                   Box 14, Middelburg, 1050 or emailed to: council@stevetshwetelm.gov.za

Any person who cannot read or write may consult with any staff member of the office
                   of the Director: Development Planning Department (Infrastructure Service Offices)
                   during office hours at (013) 249 7068 and assistance will be given to transcribe that
                   person’s comments, queries or objections.
