REGULATIONS RELATING TO ESTABLISHMENTS, VARIETIES, PLANTS AND PROPAGATING
                                                 MATERIAL: AMENDMENT

The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, acting under Section 34 of the Plant
                Improvement Act, 1976 (Act No. 53 of 1976), hereby further amend the Regulations published  under
                Government Notice No. R. 1064 of 23 May 1980, as amended, to the extent set out in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE
                Definition

1.    In this Schedule "the Regulations" means the regulations published by Government Notice No. R.

Substitution of Table 2 of the Regulations
                2.   Table 2 of the Regulations for provisions relating to the recognition of varieties is hereby  substituted
                for by the table in Annexure A.

Substitution of Table 4 of the Regulations

3.   Table 4 of the Regulations for provisions relating to seed and seed samples is hereby substituted for
                by the table in Annexure B.
