The detailed applications received from the professional bodies for SAQA to register   additional
              and new professional designations and SAQA Recognition are available on the SAQA Website,
              saqa.org.za, and may also be obtained  by  contacting  Eugene  du Plooy at e-mail address
              eduplooy@saqa.org.za.

Public comments regarding the above applications should reach SAQA using  the address below
              no later than 30 days after the date publication of this Notice.

3.  AMENDMENTS TO THE NAME AND PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION TITLES OF
                 THE CHARTERED SECRETARIES SOUTHERN AFRICA (CSSA)

The SAQA recognised  non-statutory professional body, the  Chartered Secretaries Southern
                 Africa (CSSA) proposes to change its name to the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern
                 Africa (CGISA).

According to the CSSA, the name change was pursuant to the global body changing its name
                 to the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI).  CSSA's members in Southern Africa voted in
                 favour of the name change on 18 March 2020 at a Special General Meeting.

As a result of the  global  name change, the global  designations  have also changed.  The
                 proposed name changes to the professional designations are:

Present designation name                    New proposed designation name
               Grad.ICSA - Graduate                         GradCG - Graduate of The Chartered
                                                            Governance Institute
               ACIS - Associate                             ACG - Associate of The Chartered
                                                            Governance Institute
