SCHEDULE A.2: WITHDRAWAL OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS

In terms of section 24(1)(C) of the Standards Act, the following published standards are issued for comments with regard to
            the intention by the South African Bureau of Standards to withdrawn them.

The following standards have been issued in terms of section 24(1)(a) of the Standards Act.

               SATS 62898-1:2020    Microgrids – Part 1: Guidelines for microgrid projects planning and specification. Provides
                     Ed 1           guidelines for microgrid projects planning and specification.
                SANS 21041:2020     Guidance on unit  pricing.  Gives principles and best  practice  guidelines for  unit  pricing
                     Ed 1           displayed by written, printed or electronic means.

SANS 3310-1:2020    Test sieves – Technical requirements and testing – Part 1: Test sieves of metal wire cloth.
                     Ed 2           Specifies the technical requirements and corresponding test methods for test sieves of metal
                                    wire cloth, for test sieves having aperture sizes from 125 mm down to 20 micrometers in
                                    accordance with ISO 565.
               SANS 10400-L:2020    The application of the National Building Regulations – Part L: Roofs. Provides deemed-to-
                     Ed 4           satisfy requirements  for compliance  with  part  L (Roofs) of the  National  Building
                                    Regulations.
                SANS 30042:2020     Management of terminology resources – TermBase eXchange (TBX). Explains fundamental
                     Ed 2           concepts and describes  the  metamodel, data  categories, and XML styles:  DCA (Data
                                    Category as Attribute) and DCT (Data Category as Tag).

SANS 31010:2020     Risk management  –  Risk  assessment techniques.  Provides  guidance on the  selection and
                     Ed 2           application of techniques for assessing risk in a wide range of situations.

SCHEDULE B.2: AMENDED STANDARDS

The following standards have been amended in terms of section 24(1)(a) of the Standards Act.

                                  Amended to update definitions and the table on marking of cables, to update the annex on
                                  quality verification of extruded solid dielectric insulated cables, and to delete the annex on
                                  notes to purchasers.
