CO-OPERATIVES ACT, 2005 (ACT NO.14 OF 2005)
                          AS AMENDED BY CO-OPERATIVES AMENDMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT NO. 6 OF 2013)

DRAFT REGULATIONS FOR CO-OPERATIVES

I, Ms L Zulu, Minister of Small Business Development, hereby publish for public comment
                        draft regulations on co-operatives, which I intend to prescribe in terms of section 95 of the
                        Co-operatives Act, 2005 (Act No. 14 of 2005) as amended by the Co-operatives Amendment
                        Act, 2013 (Act No. 6 of 2013).

2. Members of the public are hereby invited to send their comments to Mr. Jeffrey Ndumo at
                        jndumo©dsbd.gov,za or fax to (012) 394 2614 or submit it by hand to the Co-operative
                        Development Unit, Department of Small Business Development, 77 Meintjies Street,
                        Sunnyside, Pretoria, within 42 (forty two) days of publication of this notice.

4. Participants that wish to make oral presentations should indicate their interest in their
                        written submissions a  'II be informed If any public hearings will be held in this regard.
