PROVINCIAL NOTICE 16 OF 2021

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS  IN TERMS OF THE EASTERN CAPE GAMBLING ACT, 1997 (“THE
              ACT”).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that  public hearings in terms of section 28(1) of the  Eastern Cape
              Gambling Act,1997 (“the Act”) shall be held virtually in respect of certain applications received
              for amendment of licence conditions and a Bookmaker licence in terms of sections 35 and 53 of the
              Act, as set out in the schedules hereunder on Friday, 12 February 2021 at 10:00 am or soon
              thereafter as may be heard by the Board.

Interested parties are requested to submit their details to the office of the Executive Manager:
              Compliance & Licensing (compliance@ecgb.org.za) (including e-mail addresses) by no later than
              noon on Wednesday, 10 February 2021 in order for them to be connected to the virtual Public
              Hearing.

SCHEDULE A – AMENDMENT OF LICENCE CONDITIONS

A1  Emfuleni Resorts (Pty) Ltd (1996/003925/07) trading as The Boardwalk Casino and
                  Entertainment World situated at 2nd Avenue, Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape has
                  applied for amendment of licence conditions.

A2  Arvordex (Pty) Ltd (2012/112949/07)  t/a  Bingo Royale Mthatha  situated  at  Shop No. 19,
                  Mthatha Plaza, 35 Nelson Mandela Drive, Mthatha, Eastern Cape has applied for amendment of
                  licence conditions.

A3  Bingo Royale JBay (Pty) Ltd (2012/128005/07) t/a Bingo Royale Jeffrey’s Bay situated at Shop
                  G24 Fountains Mall, Corner R102 Humansdorp and St Francis Drive, Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape
                  has applied for amendment of licence conditions.

A4  Bingo Royale Lusikisiki (Pty) Ltd (2014/016993/07) t/a Bingo Royale Lusikisiki situated at Erf 8,
                  No.7 Jakaranda Street, Lusikisiki has applied for amendment of licence conditions.

A5  Bingo Royale Matatiele (Pty) Ltd (2014/016944/07) t/a Bingo Royale Matatiele situated at Shop
                  1 B7, Market Square, Corner Long and Market Street, Matatiele, Eastern Cape has applied for
                  amendment of licence conditions.

A6  Bingo Royale Cleary Park (Pty) Ltd (2012/118692/07) t/a Bingo Royale Port Elizabeth situated
                  at Shop NG29 Cleary Park Shopping Centre, Corner Stanford and Middleton Road, Bethelsdorp,
                  Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape has applied for amendment of licence conditions.
              A7  Bingo Royale Buffalo City CBD (Pty) Ltd (2012/112914/07)  t/a  Bingo Royale East London
                  situated  at  Owethu House, 27 Terminus Street, East London, Eastern Cape  has applied for
                  amendment of licence conditions.
