PROVINCIAL NOTICE 129 OF 2016
          
                NOTICE OF LODGMENT OF APPLICATION FOR CASINO LICENCE IN TERMS OF THE GAMBLING
                AND BETTING ACT, 1997 (ACT NO. 5 OF 1997) (EASTERN CAPE) (as amended)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application for Casino Licence in terms of section 41 of the
                Gambling and Betting Act, 1997 (Act No. 5 of 1997) (Eastern Cape) (as amended) (“the Act”),
                particulars of which are set out in the Schedule hereunder, has been lodged with the Eastern
                Cape Gambling and Betting Board.

The application may be inspected by any person at the offices of the Eastern Cape Gambling
                and Betting Board, ECGBB Building, Quenera Park, Quenera Drive, Beacon Bay, East London;
                Queens Casino offices at No. 63, Ebden Street, Queenstown, Eastern Cape and Lukhanji Local
                Municipality offices at No. 70 Cathcart Road, Queenstown.

Any  representations, including  objections, petitions or  comments  shall be lodged with  the
                Chief Executive  Officer of the Board  within one (1) month  of the date of this  notice,
                commencing on 23 May 2016 until 22 June 2016.

All  representations shall specify:  the application to which the  representation  relates;  in the
                case of an objection, the grounds on which the objection is founded; in the case of comment;
                full particulars or facts in substantiation thereof: the  name, address, telephone  and  fax
                number of the person making the representations and a statement whether the person making
                the representation wishes to make oral representations when the application is heard.

A person lodging representations may show cause why the Board may determine that his or her
                identity should not be divulged.

The under-mentioned figures used in brackets in Schedule have the following meanings:
                (1)   =   The name and address of the applicant;
                (2)   =   If the applicant is a company or other corporate body, the names of all persons who
                           have a financial or other interest of 5% or more in the applicant;
                (3)   =   In the case of a company the initials and surnames of all directors of the company;
                (4)   =   The type of application applied for; and
                (5)   =   The address of the premises from which the applicant intends to operates.
