Gauteng GAMBLING ACT, 1995
                                                  (ACT NO. 4 OF 1995)

APPOINTMENT OF AN ADMINISTRATOR TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS AND
                           EXERCISE THE POWERS OF THE Gauteng GAMBLING BOARD

I, Mpho Franklyn Tau, MPL and Member of the Executive Council for Economic
                Development, Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development in the Province of Gauteng,
                hereby, in terms of section 18C(1) and (2)(a) of the Gauteng Gambling Act, 1995 (Act No. 4
                of 1995), and after consultation with the Executive Council-

(a)   appoints Adv Fana Johannes Nalane SC as Administrator to perform the functions and
                      exercise the powers of the Gauteng Gambling Board for a period of six months from

the publication of this Notice in the Provincial Gazette;

(b)   determines that the Administrator has all the powers and functions of the Gauteng
                      Gambling Board conferred and imposed by the Act and other applicable legislation,
                      excluding the granting and revocation of licences.
