                                       REGISTRATION OF A TRADE UNION

I, Malixole Ntleki, Acting Registrar of  Labour Relations, hereby notify, in terms of
                   section 109(2) of the Labour Relations   Act, 1995, that the Academic     and

Professional Staff Association of the     University of South Africa APSA
                  (UNISA) has resolved to change its  name to Academic and Professional Staff
                  Association of the Universities       of South Africa (APSA UNI - SA)
                  (LR 2/6/2/619)

In terms of section 101(7)(a) of the  Act the new name of the trade union  has

been    entered   into  the  register  of  trade   unions   with  effect  from
