PUBLIC NOTICE FOR INSPECTION OF FIRST SUPPLEMENTARY VALUATION ROLL AND
                                           LODGING OF OBJECTIONS (2020-2025)

Greater Taung Local Municipality gives notice in terms of Section 49 (l)(a)(i) of the Local
                    Government Municipal Property Rates Act (No. 06 of 2004, as amended), hereinafter referred to as
                    the "Act", that the First Supplementary Valuation Boll is open for p.ubUG-lAspectioR in Hie follo .. ing
                                                               st
                    municipal offices: Taung, Pudimoe and Reivilo from 01 May 2021 to 15th June 2021.
                    An invitation is hereby made in terms of section 49(1)(a)(ii) read together with 78 (2) of the Act, that
                    any owner of property or other person who so desires should lodge an objection with the Municipal
                    Manager in respect of any matter reflected in, or omitted from the supplementary valuation roll
                    within the above-mentioned period. Office hours are from 08:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday.

According to section 50(2) of the Act, an objection in terms of subsection (l)(c) must be in relation to
                    a specific individual property and not against the valuation roll as such.

The objection forms are obtainable from your nearest Municipal cashier offices or at
                    enquiries@gtlm.gov.za.  Completed forms must be submitted for the attention of the Municipal
                    Manager and delivered by hand at any Cashier Office in the Municipal area. The objections are open
                    from the 01st May 2021 until the 15 June 2021, during office hours (08h00 to 16h00).
