                           NOTICE CALLING FOR INSPECTION OF NEW VALUATION ROLL AND LODGING OF
                                         OBJECTIONS FOR 2021 /2026 FINANCIAL YEAR

This notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(1) (a) (i) of the Local Government
                       Municipal Property Rates Act 2004 (Act No.6 of 2004), hereinafter referred to as the
                       "Act ", that the new valuation roll of Moses Kotane Local Municipality for the 2021/2026
                       financial years will be open for public inspection from 01St March 2021 at the offices of
                       Moses Kotane Local Municipality in Mogwase and Madikwe

An invitation is hereby extended in terms of Section 49 (1) (a) (ii) of the Act that any
                       owner of the property or other person who desires, should lodge an objection with the
                       respective Municipal Manager in respect of any matter reflected in, or omitted from
                       the Supplementary Valuation Roll.

Attention is specifically drawn to the fact that in terms of section 50(2) of the Act an
                       objection must be in relation to a specific individual property and not against the
                       valuation roll as such.
                       The closing date for objections is 30th April 2021

The form for lodging an objection is obtainable at the stated Municipal offices.

The completed forms must be returned within the time specified above to the above -
                       mentioned Municipal offices.
