PUBLIC NOTICE CALLING FOR INSPECTION OF GENERAL VALUATION ROLL AND
                                                    LODGING OF OBJECTION/S
                          Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49 (l) (a) (i) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act,
                          (Act No. 6 of 2004), hereinafter referred to as the "Act", that the 2018/2019 Valuation Roll is open for public
                                                                                              th
                          inspection at the Senqu Municipality Offices at Lady Grey, Sterkspruit and Barkly East from the 15  of May
                                 th
                          2018 to 25  of June 2018.
                          In addition the Valuation Roll is available at the following website:
                          www.senqumunicipality.co.za
                          The Valuation Roll can be viewed during office hours from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday from 15 May to
                          25 June 2018 at the following Senqu Municipality Offices:
                             •  Lady Grey Office  : Finance Department, 19 Murray Street-Lady Grey
                             •  Lady Grey Library   : 28 Murray Street, Lady Grey
                             •  Barkly East Office  : Cnr Molteno & De Villiers Street
                             •  Barkly East Library   : 14 White Street, Barkly East
                             •  Sterkspruit Office  : 54 Main Street, Sterkspruit
                             •  Sterkspruit Library   : 54 Main Street, Sterkspruit
                             •  Rhodes Library    :
                           An invitation is hereby made in terms of section 49(l)(a)(ii) of the Act that any owner of property or other
                          person who so desires should lodge an objection with the Municipal Manager in respect of any matter reflected
                          in, or omitted from, the valuation roll within the above-mentioned period.

Attention is specifically drawn to the fact that in terms of section 50(2) of the Act an objection must be in
                          relation to a specific individual property and not against the valuation roll as such.
                          The forms for the lodging of an objection is obtainable at the following addresses:
