THE FINAL DESIGNATION OF FULL-TIME COUNCILLORS IN TERMS OF
                  PARAGRAPH 6 (2) (c) OF PART 3 IN THE PROVINCIAL GAZETTE No.                        . 487
                  (Extraordinary) DATED 15 FEBRUARY 2006 ISSUED IN TERMS OF SECTION 12 OF
                  THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL STRUCTURES ACT, (ACT NO. 117 OF
                  1998) AS AMENDED

I, MLIBO QOBOSHIYANE, Member of the Executive Council responsible for Local
                 Government in the Province of the Eastern Cape, after the consultation process prescribed
                  in section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act, 1998 (Act No. 117 of
                  1998), under the powers vested in me by Sections 16(1)(d) of the Local Government:
                 Municipal Structures Act, 1998 (Act No. 117 of 1998) hereby finally designate the
                 Chairperson of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee in respect of Matatiele Local
                 Municipality as full-time in terms of Paragraph 6 (2) (c) of Part 3 in the Provincial Gazette
                 No. 1487 (Extraordinary) dated 15 February 2006 as per attached schedule. The fulltime
                 status of the Chairperson of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee to take effect from
                 the first day of the month following the date of publication in the Provincial Gazette.
