NOTICE OF GENERAL RATE AND FIXED DATE FOR A PAYMENT IN RESPECT
                            OF 2014/15 FINANCIAL YEAR (01 JULY 2014 TO 30 JUNE 2015)

Notice is hereby given in terms of section 14(2) of the Local Government Municipality
                Property Rates Act, 2004 that as from 01 July 2013, the municipality will levy property rates on the
                 full market value of the property. And applicable rebates will apply as per Ba-Phalaborwa
                Municipality Rates Policy.

Residential Property                           0.011(Rebate 15%)
                Business, Commercial and Industrial           0.011(Rebate 0%)
                Privately Developed ristates                  0.011(Additional Rebate 30%)
                Retired and Disabled persons                  0.011(Additional Rebate 30%)
                Agricultural (Bona fide farmers)              0.0024
                Agriculture (Other)                           0.011(Rebate as per policy)
                Public Service Infrastructure property         0.0024
                Multipurpose Properties                        0.011(Rebate 15%)
                 Special Properties                            0.011(Rebate 15%)
                 State Owed Properties/Institution            0.011(Rebate 15%)

In terms of section 29(1) the amount due for rates will be payable in 12 (twelve) equal
                monthly instalments on the following dates:

                August 2013                                    29 August 2014
                September 2013                                 26 September 2014
                October 2013                                   31 October 2014
                November 2013                                  28 November 2014
                December 2013                                  24 December 2014
                January 2014                                   30 January 2015
                February 2014                                  27 February 2015
                March 2014                                     27 March 2015
                April 2014                                     24 April 2015
                May 2014                                       29 May 2015
                June 2014                                      26 June 2015

Interest will be levied on all amounts in arrears and actions taken in terms of Ba-Phalaborwa
                Municipality Credit Control and Debt Collection Policies and by-laws.
