PROVINCIAL NOTICE 421 OF 2019
          1 March 2019      129
                           PUBLICATION OF Gauteng MUNICIPAL CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT:
                           3RD QUARTER ENDED 31 MARCH 2019.

1.    The Municipal Finance Management Act.2003 (Act 56 of 2003) ( "MFMA ")
                                 in terms of section 71 and Government Gazette Notice 26510 and 26511
                                 refers.

2.    The MFMA in terms of Section 71(1) requires Accounting Officers of each
                                 Municipality to submit to the Provincial Treasury, on a monthly basis and
                                 by the 10th working day of the month, a consolidated statement on the
                                 state of municipal budgets.

3.    The MFMA in terms of section 71(6) in addition to the aforementioned
                                 requires the Provincial Treasury to submit by no later than the 22nd
                                 working day of the month, to National Treasury, a consolidated statement
                                 on the state of the municipal budgets in the Province.

4.    The Provincial Treasury, within 30 days after the quarter has ended, has
                                 to publish a Consolidated Statement on the municipal budgets per
                                 municipality in the Province.

5.    Herewith we formally   publish  the  consolidated  statement  as  at
                                 31 March 2019.
