                                                   STATEMENT:3rd
                                        QUARTER ENDED 31 MARCH 2017

I, MacCollen Ntsikelelo Jack, MEC for Finance, Economic Development and
                Tourism, acting in terms of Section 71(7) of the Local Government: Municipal
                Finance Management Act (No. 56 of 2003), hereby publish the consolidated
                statement on municipal budgets in the Northern Cape. This reflects the financial
                performance by municipalities as at the end of the third quarter (ending 31 March
                2017) of the 2016/17 municipal financial year.

Provincial Treasury is using the National Treasury Database as the primary source
                for the data reported in this submission.

The consolidated municipal performance report of the Northern Cape for the period
                ended 31 March 2017 can be accessed on the departmental webside                       at
                www.ncpt.qov.za /documents /northern cape municipal finance consolidated reports.
