                           DEPARTMENT OF COOPERATIVE GOVERNANCE AND TRADITIONAL AFFAIRS

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 16(1)(d) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL STRUCTURES
                         ACT, 1998 (ACT NO. 117 OF 1998): UMUZIWABANTU  LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

I, Nomusa Dube-Ncube, Member of the KwaZulu-Natal  Executive Council responsible for local government, under
             powers vested in me by section 16(1)(d), read with section 18(4), of the Local Government: Municipal Structures
             Act, 1998 (Act No. 117 of 1998), hereby determine that the Umuziwabantu Local Municipality, in addition to the
             Speaker, the Mayor and the Deputy-Mayor, may designate two additional Executive Committee Members, as  full-
             time Councillors.
