APPOINTMENT OF THE ABAQULUSI MUNICIPAL PLANNING TRIBUNAL
                      MEMBERS IN TERMS OF SECTION 37(4) OF THE SPATIAL PLANNING
                         AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT NO 16 OF 2013)

Notice  is  hereby  given  that  the  AbaQulusi  Local  Municipality  has  appointed  the
                    following persons as members of the Abaqulusi Municipal Planning Tribunal (MPT) in
                    terms  of  Section  37(4)  of  the  Spatial  Planning  and  Land  Use  Management  Act,  2013
                    (Act No 16 of 2013):

PRIVATE/NON-MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES:
                       •   Attorney:                  Gabriel Tshepo Mathopo
                       •   Civil Engineer:            Jacobus Wilhelmus Van Rensburg
                       •   Professional Land Surveyor:   Peter Heinz Rudolf Hoffmann
                       •   Environmental Specialist:     Senamile Sambulo Namhla Mnguni
                       •   Professional Town Planner:   Daniel Erhardus Engelbrecht
                       •   Professional Land Surveyor:   Bruce Michael Barsdorf

MUNICIPAL AND GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES:
                       •   Director Development Planning
                       •   Senior Town Planner, registered as a Professional Planner
                       •   Manager IDP, registered as a Professional Planner
                       •   Director: Technical Services/Manager: Sewer and Water from the Technical
                           Department in the full-time employ of the Municipality
                       •   Director: Technical Services/Manager: Electricity in the full-time employ of the
                           Municipality
                       •   A person in the employ of the District Municipality dealing with water and sanitation at
                           manager’s level or such senior as designated by the District Municipality
                       •   District Environmental Manager or an authorised senior

The above members are to serve on the Abaqulusi Municipal Planning Tribunal in order to
                    assist  the  Municipality  in  performing  its  function  and  responsibilities  related  to  the
                    determination  and  making  of  decisions  on  land  use  and  land  development  applications  in
                    accordance with relevant sections of the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act,
                    2013  (Act  No  16  of  2013).  The  AbaQulusi  Municipal  Planning  Tribunal  will  commence  its
                    operation within 10 days of the publication of this notice.
