PUBLIC NOTICE

MUNICIPAL NOTICE NO: KZN271-MPRA01 of 2021-2022

CALLING  FOR INSPECTION  OF THE  SECOND SUPPLEMENTARY VALUATION ROLL AND
              LODGE A REQUEST FOR REVIEW AGAINST THE VALUATION OF A PROPERTY

In terms of section 78 (4), rates on the property based on the new supplementary valuation of the
              property become payable with effect from 1 July 2021.

              S78 (4) (a) the first day of the month following the posting of the notice contemplated in subsection
              (5) in the case of a property referred to in subsection (1) (a).
              You are hereby informed that in terms of s78 (5) (b), as the property owner, you have the right to
              lodge a request for review with the municipal manager in writing by 14 June  2021 in respect of any
              matter reflected in the supplementary valuation. To  support your request  for review you must
              complete and submit the "Review Application Form" which is available from the municipal website.
              The completed form must be returned to Private Bag X901, KwaNgwanase, 3973 or to the Accounts
              Department:  Room 244, Umhlabuyalingana Municipality, R22, KwaNgwanase.
